New iCloud email to an existing Apple user

Hi,

Apple's iCloud email has recently been down and I can't get around either Apple's technical challenges or limitations to the service. Whatever I've tried I couldn't seem to create a new email (myname@icloud.com) since I already have an @icloud.com, @mac.com and @me.com.

Have I run out of service limits?

As an old used, how to register/create new email(s) like my.name@icloud.com and/or myname@icloud.com? Do I have a limit to those, because I read somewhere that those are considered just alias and not actual new email addresses?

Thanks a lot

Hello jedi.nick,

We're happy to help explain iCloud email. This article is helpful: iCloud: About your @icloud.com, @me.com, and @mac.com email addresses

Depending on when you created your iCloud account, your iCloud email addresses and aliases may end with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com domains. Learn how these email addresses are granted.

From: Add and manage email aliases for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com

After you set up a primary iCloud Mail address, you can create up to three @icloud.com email aliases on iCloud.com. After you set up an alias, you can send and receive mail from that alias on iCloud.com and on any device that has Mail turned on in iCloud settings.

Note: If you had five MobileMe email aliases when you moved your account to iCloud, you retain the five aliases. However, if you delete one of your five aliases, you can’t create a new one to replace it.

That should help. Let us know if you have any questions.

Take care.
