iPad model A2197 does not work, CPU issue

I have an iPad model A2197 that is 2 years old. Barely ever used. Is now a doorstop. Tried all the button combinations, different chargers and cords. Won't go into recovery mode or be discovered by computer. Is just dead. Appears to be a common problem with this model to be cpu issues and maybe reballing could work? Is this really my only option on an expensive Apple product ? Disappointing to throw away something when you thought you were spending the extra money for the quality.

Until assessed by Apple technicians, it will be impossible to prescribe possible cause or potential remediation of your iPad7.

You might best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad - and you can explore your potential options:

My mother bought this exact model when it became available in Septrmber 2019.

It is still working fine with no issues after over 3 years.

Did you purchase paid, extended 2-year AppleCare+ for that iPad?

Paid AppleCare+ would have gotten you a replacement iPad of your same model for a $49 U.S.D. replacement device fee.

You need to realise something.

Nothing we mortal, fragile and imperfect human beings design and make/build is ever going to be perfect. Ever.

Electronic devices and computers/computing devices are complex, intricate and fragile devices.

The software that runs these electronics devices are equally complex, intricate and fragile.

These devices can glitch and/or fail in any conceiveable ( or inconceiveable ) manner at ANY time, for ANY reason.

There will ALWAYS be a perecentage of any product designed and made that may undergo some sort of failure. for no particular reason or rhyme.

Stuff just happens.

Sorry your iPad prematurely failed.

The fact remains that it is not a rare occurrence for this model to have the CPU fail prematurely. It is a very common issue for many people not including your mother. For a company that charges top dollar for their products they should own up to an issue when it appears for so many of its customers. It is not just Random and Rare ..... it is a common and premature issue.

You need to realize that I was asking if there was any other options I could try to fix my iPad. I thought maybe someone smart had found an answer I could try.

I am marrried and 60 years old and your, seemingly, condescending statement about my family was totally uncalled for.

Where is YOUR proof that this is a “common” issue? with the 2019, 7th gen base model iPads? Hmmm?...

Things can and DO happen to electronics devices.

Doesn't make something a “common” issue/occurance.
