Sorting items within a checklist note into alphabetical order

I would like to be able to sort the things I have in a particular note, into alphabetical order. Is there a way of doing this? I want to keep the general method of sorting (in settings) as “sort by date edited” as my default sorting method. I just wondered if there is a way of choosing to over-ride the default sort method for an individual note.
