Macbook Pro screen goes black randomly when not plugged in to charge.

And it's never because of a low battery. It's as if it goes to sleep and nothing makes it come back on unless I plug it in to charge.

I do have a "service battery" notification but first I want to check if the problems are related...

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

They are. Service Battery indicates the reading you have for the battery is not to be counted on. Get the battery replaced.
