Two monitors worked via Dock on old 2019 MBP. New 2022 MBP will only one monitor works

I am using a CalDigit TBT3 dock to connect two monitors to my laptop. Previously, using a 2019 Intel powered MBP 13” to connect, both monitors worked. My brand new M2 powered MBP will only see one monitor at a time. Any ideas?

thunderbolt to hdmi with 2 monitors I recently bought the OWC Thunderbolt 3 mini dock and attempted to connect 2 hdmi monitors to my 13" M2 MacBook air, but only one monitor seems to work at a time. Is something wrong with the dock, or is that a limitation of the Mac? When the dock is plugged into one port on the mac, the left monitor works. If I move the dock to the other port on the Mac without changing anything else, the other monitor lights up. I don't see any settings in System Preferences that would affect this behavior, but I hope I'm just missing something.

Cannot Connect More Than 2 External Monitors to MacBook Pro M3 I have a MacBook Pro 2023 with the M3 Pro chip. I am using this CalDigit mini-dock: https://www.caldigit.com/mini-dock/ I thought I would be able to connect 2 external monitors to the mini dock and a third monitor to the MacBook's HDMI port however, there are only 2 monitors that can work at a time. I can use any combination of 2 from the 3 available HDMI ports just fine. What do I need to be able to use 3 external monitors on my MacBook?

Are you still powering the dock externally?
