Hi Itsmebala,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! Pressing the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch should take you to your Home Screen where you can see all the apps. From there, you can launch the Camera Remote app for use with your paired iPhone. Find more information about that here: Use Camera Remote and timer on Apple Watch.

If your Apple Watch is not functioning this way and instead opening the app on its own, try restarting to see if the behavior continues. Restarting can fix many issues:

  1. "If your Apple Watch is charging, take it off the charger.
  2. Press and hold the side button until you see the power button  in the upper-right corner of the display.
  3. Tap the power button.
  4. Drag the Power Off slider.
  5. After your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo."

-Restart your Apple Watch

Should it continue, tell us more about what you're experiencing, and any other steps you may have tried so we can better assist.

Cheers!
