iPhone 14 screen not scaling properly in certain apps - content appears behind clock and battery and camera in top bar

In certain apps on my iPhone 14, content is not scaling appropriately to respect the top bar/notch/clock. For example, when clicking on a listing in Facebook marketplace, the close “X” appears in a circle, behind the clock in the top left of the screen instead of below the clock, and cannot be clicked. No screen zoom turned on, no large text or buttons, no accessibility settings enabled - and most apps work just fine. Not isolated to just Facebook, issues with some other apps as well, like Accuweather. Cannot recreate on other iPhones. Apps have been deleted and re-installed, of course rebooted the phone, etc… any suggestions?
