Audio latency of Apple 3.5mm to lightning dongle

Anyone with experience of the product, does it have audio delay when connected to headphones like bluetooth? Or it’s fast just like cabled connection. I’m worried because I bought this cheap dongle and it uses bluetooth and it has an audio delay. I’m planning now to buy the original one from Apple, and now I’m asking the question. If it has audio delay? Because I play rhythm games and wanted to connect my wired headphones to my iPhone.
