My iPhone displays a red bell and a slash when playing videos. I can’t hear my callers when I receive calls. They too don’t hear me. How can i resolve it please?

Bell with red slash means you have put your iPhone in silent mode. Check the switch on the side of the iPhone to take it out of silent mode.

Thanks @rgilbert. I have done just that but I lost sound. I can’t hear my callers neither can my callers hear me. I tried putting on speaker but still no solution.
