Why is apple news shutting down while I’m reading article?

Since upgrading to ipad iOS 16, apple news constantly shuts down while I’m trying to read an article. Any solution?

Worse now with iOS 16.1.1

This could be from a multitude of things. I would try restarting first. Secondly, updating to a newer version of iOS could resolve the problem. If neither of these solutions solves your issue, your internal storage could be reaching maximum capacity. Please provide an update :)
