How do I connect a Lacie Mobile 2B Drive with USB-C cable to a late 2015 iMac with USB-3 ports? I'm using this as my new backup hard drive with Time Machine.

How do I connect a Lacie Mobile 2B Drive with USB-C cable to a late 2015 iMac with USB-3 ports? I'm using this as my new backup hard drive with Time Machine.

The cable is high-quality, which I consider essential for an external drive. I’ve also had great experience that that particular cable.

You will need a USB-C to USB-A 3.1 cable, such as this one, for compatibility with your older generation Mac.
