Find gmail password in iOS 14

Working with my 90 year old mother-in-law to set up gmail on her new computer. Mail quit working on her ten year old macbook. After much effort to get mail to not quit immediately upon starting, she decided she wanted a new computer. Her old files were transferred successfully. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get her gmail account registered on the new computer.

A password, that must not have been moved to the new computer, is required. The password she has written down on the cover of her old computer's instruction booklet does not work to set up the account or when trying to log in to gmail via Safari. When reporting a lost password gmail sends a code to her deceased husbands inactive earthlink mailbox. I am not able to access this account. Meanwhile her iPhone 7 is receiving mail from her gmail account.

I thought I should be able to get her password from her phone and use it on her new computer. A gmail password is not listed in Settings/Passwords. I have been unable to find the password on her iPhone, which is running iOS 14.8. All of the internet articles, suggesting how to access this password, use more recent operating systems. I would appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks.
