how do i remove an app from my iphone that i removed from the home screen?

i removed spotify from the home screen, thinking for some reason that keeping the data was just keeping some settings, and now i cannot remove the app itself to uninstall it and reinstall it.

Itunes is only showing certain apps that are installed. How do I remove it?

I found that if i install a widget, it is not giving me an option to remove the app itself.
