Why do I get the message “File type not supported” when trying to print a Pages document on my HP printer, my iPhone 12 iOS16 wont print either I had no problem printing from them before I updated to iOS 16 form iOS 15 any help would be appreciated.

The only time I got ‘file not supported’ or the option to ‘print with HP…’ was when I tried to print from the three dots (green arrow). When I accessed from the alternative (red arrow) it worked fine. Sorry I cannot help any more than that

I did this but i do not even get the option to “Print”. I do get the “Print with HP smart option” but the error message shows File Type Not Supported when i try to print. This is only happening when I try to print from Pages. My printer is the HP Envy 6000 series.

All of a sudden the print icon showed up. strange.
It works….just as you say. When you use the drop down arrow on the left (red) rather than the greenarrowed 3 dot icon or the “share” icon. I just wish it worked the way it used to.
