iPhone 11 Pro Max, 16
Hey jelena234,
We'd be happy to help out. If your iPhone 11 Pro Max is frozen and not responding at any point, a force restart is the best thing to do. For more info, please review these steps:
On your iPhone 8 or later, including iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation)
1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
4. If your phone doesn't turn on, follow these steps to check your hardware and charge your phone. You might need to charge for up to an hour.
5. If your phone still doesn't turn on or continues to freeze unexpectedly, contact Apple Support.
All this is outlined in more detail here: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen
If the behavior persists, as it states above, you'll want to contact Apple for support.
Take care!
Hello jelena234,
Thanks for getting back to us with those additional details. iOS 16.1.1 was released earlier today, so please back up your iPhone, and update as described in the following resource:
We hope this helps. Kind regards.
Hello, I followed these steps as indicated. The phone continues to hang spontaneously for 5-6 minutes. Then he turns on. No button presses help. And this is repeated several times a day. Prior to update 16.1, there were no such problems.
jelena234,
Thanks for keeping us updated.
Since the forced restart didn't resolve this issue, it would be best to contact Apple Support for additional help.
Hope that helps.
Cheers!
Also, the phone itself is overloaded even if it is not used and it just lies on the table. It turns itself off and reboots.
I contacted the service. I was advised to wait for a new update. Otherwise, when returning to a previous version, I may lose all my files. This is undesirable.
