Saturday morning the emails I had opened but not acted upon disappeared. How do I restore them?

Emails in my inbox that I had opened but not acted upon suddenly disappeared. How do I bring them back?

Welcome to the Apple Community.


Am guessing you are using the Mail app for eMail ...


Wondering if you have tried looking in the trash / bin ... messages may have been accidentally deleted.

Or if deleted messages go to an "Archive" may be worth looking there.

Else sometimes messages can accidentally end up being in one of the mailboxes.


You can try a search for one of the eMails: (Tip: if you search by timeframe you may find all of them in one go)

Eg: See link below for how to: "Search for email in Mail on iPhone"

https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/search-for-email-iphb2eab8035/ios


Another idea may be to log-in online to your eMail provider's website (eg Yahoo, Gmail),

and look in that account's inbox , check trash there etc.
