Adding Apple Account to Apple Wallet

i am still having problems adding my Apple account to the apple wallet. Message states“Your Apple account balance cannot be added to the apple wallet at this time”. I have tried multiple times for days. I am using an iPhone 14 pro with ios16.1. My region is correct USA. I have signed out of my Apple ID and signed back in reloading all cards. Rebooted my phone and nothing! Apple wallet work’s because I added $5 through Apple Pay with my Apple Card. My Apple account now has a total of $80. Also used other cards in apple wallet. Wanted to purchase the new Apple TV 4K but will wait until this is solved. Shouldn’t be this difficult. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Add your Apple Account Card to Wallet on iPhone

In the Wallet app , you can store your Apple Account Card and see the balance on your Apple Account. You can use your account balance to buy products, accessories, apps, games, and more online or in store with Apple Pay.

Add your Apple Account Card

In Wallet, tap , then tap Add Apple Account.

Manage your Apple Account Card

Tap the Apple Account Card, then tap .

You can view the card details or remove the card.
