Apple Watch Notification about Storage

My Apple Watch 7 45mm is continually getting a notification that says “iCloud Settings— Continue to view and update your iCloud storage settings.” When I click on the notification, it just opens the settings app, and I cannot find any such option in settings.

I pay for 200GB of iCloud storage— it is not even halfway full. I checked the local storage on my watch as well, and it’s less than half full as well. So there is no storage issue on the watch or iCloud.

I have the same message and have just spoken to Apple who did a remote access on my iPhone. She said it's a glitch and nothing I need to act on. She said to turn on and off the notifications to my watch (which I did) but that didn't help. She then said to do a reset to the watch and I'll do that. If it doesn't help then I can call back. I'll try that today and if it doesn't work I'll post the outcome of my next phone call. It's very annoying to have to clear the message every time I go to look at the time. I also have 2TB of storage on my phone so it's not a storage issue!

Not Helpful,

The BUG is still there.

Using Apple Watch 8 45mm(latest stable update)

iPhone 13 Pro Max (latest stable update)

Every time I get any notification on my phone,

“iCloud Settings— Continue to view and update your iCloud storage settings.”

this notification comes back.

As @simremis mentioned, this issue started after going on icloud.com and pressing “Use Continue on Device to send a notification to your Apple devices that will take you directly to iCloud Plan Settings.”

Tried Turning off Watch and Phone multiple times.

This is so frustrating!!!

Hey there azolnierek,

If you haven’t already tried using the Watch app on your iPhone, it may provide some clues: The Apple Watch app - Apple Support

If you don’t see anything that may be providing that notification, try restarting both your iPhone and Apple Watch starting with your iPhone first:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Please let us know the results when you're able.

Take care!
