can I use an "OtterBox Strive Series 20W USB-C Fast Charge Wall Charger - Ocean Ghost" to charge my iphone 14promax?

This is in stock at Walmart which is one of the closest stores to my rural home and I cannot activate my phone until I can charge it- had no idea the cable was usb-c and honestly have NO way to do so here

Box says Works with Apple, Samsung, LG, Google and more but can't see rest of box yet to see if there is a "made for" symbol- just need to charge and connect to wifi to activate with Visible...

they charge by 5volt DC and a minimum of 1 amp == 5watt chargers

Watt  is like how fast your car can drive, but the speed limit is how fast your car do drive

the iphone draw as much current as it was build to use when charging, the fact that

a charger can provide a lot more just means it's not having its full capacitive used

I've never made a fuss about approval of the ac charger if it does not send spikes or have a higher than 5volt then it can never really harm the device

you can also charge by connecting it to a computer

and you can get tons of usb-c to usb-a adaptors

Amazon.com : usb-a to usb-c adapter

DID find a "made for" approved usb (A) to lightning cable but I'd have to use it with my Samsung wall plug USB (A) plug- which would be better or are they both ok?? Just spent $1700 and can't even charge the daggone thing OR activate it- FUN times ;-) Yes knew this but had planned on having stuff here but Visible left me hanging so long had planned on just moving to Verizon but just found out it's locked even before activation- just FYI- not that I didn't pay attention ;-) haha

Thanks for the reply! Guess I'm past the point of clueless on this stuff as even your attempt to explain it to me in detail just still went over my head a bit! ;-) So does that mean I should not use this Otterbox 20 watt (fast) wall charger to plug my cable that came with to get my phone charged?? Are you saying it should be 5 watt max cause I don't remember seeing any that low- see CLUEless ;-) haha

Thanks for the amazon info- I do have stuff ready to order and would have done so last night but none would have been here before the 10th and I need to get this activated before the 9th (transfer/port PIN expires on 9th and will not be able to get another- long story but brother in law lost job and my account was thru him on his employee plan... so to get my promo $ I have to transfer my number- WHO knew something that should have been so exciting would be such a royal pain in the hindparts! (not just the charger but Visible that I'm stuck with at least for 60 days as it's locked before even activating- was gonna just cancel and start with Verizon instead but...

Alas, I've GOT to go to Walmart today and get something to get this phone past the screen where the battery symbol up top says "SOS" and it keeps telling me hello and "swipe to open" in many languages over and over but won't do ANYTHING despite swiping away. I was SO excited to finally join the 21st century with a phone and plan that would work- I've been actually enjoying essentially going back to the 90's as I couldn't use my old phone/free plan from brother at my new home/property- so relying on landline and actual answering machine. If you are younger than me you are probably now the confused one! hahaha

Thanks again...
