MacMail not filtering in OS12.6

A few years ago, MacMail “learned” from the emails I selected as junk, and did a pretty good job of filtering out more junk mail.

Over the past year, my Inbox has been completely overwhelmed, despite my Junk Mail Filtering Preferences, and Rules such as filtering emails with Arabic or Chinese characters. I left junk messages in the Junk folder and didn’t empty it for several days, but nothing seems to work anymore. I keep getting junk messages over and over from what appear to be the same senders.

What do I need to do, to get MacMail filtering to work again? Any ideas?

Spammer are almost always one or two steps ahead of we the general users.

That is how they make their money

Perhaps if the user explored the details in this link, it may or may not cut down on the Spam.Block senders in Mail on Mac

It will not eliminate the Spam but at least, possibly temporarily cut it down until the Spammers can devise a new and improved way onto your Inbox.
