Genius results can’t be updated right now. An unknown error occurred (-100000).

I see that there have been discussions going back a few years and previous OSs, with different error message numbers for the same problem.


I'm having this problem for the first time with Ventura.


There doesn't seem to have been any explanations or solutions, so far...

I've done some more troubleshooting since my original post turning Private Relay on and off and I did find that with it off Genius was updating, at least it wasn't showing the error message.


Right now I have Private Relay on again and Genius updated so if there still is a bug it's intermittent.


Private Relay seems to be out of beta, at least it's not declared as beta either on my MacBook Pro, or my iPhone, so I'm wondering if it's a network issue.


I shall Get Support directly from Apple if it returns.
