text copied from a PDF file and tracking of its origin.

Anybody knows how to copy and paste a text from a PDF file, saving it, in some way, together with the name of the file where it has been copied from?

Copy/Paste does not carry along the name of the source PDF, so what ever documet you place that pasted text in, you would need to select, press option+cmd+i to open a Get Info panel, and then enter the name of the source PDF in the comments field.
