Being locked out of apple ID

So I have locked myself out of my Apple ID but I have now reset the password! I’m trying to put my new password in but it says I have to wait 22 hours for it to unlock! I use my phone for work and it’s really frustrating me!

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16

If you tried to sign in multiple times before you changed the password, the below may help explain the restrictions and what to do. See other restrictions in the article.

Apple ID - if you see an 'Unable to sign you in to your Apple ID' message. *
