How do I add a person to a Text Group Message using OS 16.1

If anyone in the group is not using iMessage on iPhones, and there is one or more SMS/MMS users, you cannot add or remove anyone from a group text. This is a limitation of the SMS/MMS protocol.

"How to add someone to a group text message

  1. Tap the group message that you want to add someone to.
  2. Tap the group icons at the top of the thread.
  3. Tap the gray arrow icon to the right of the contacts, then tap Add Contact .
  4. Type the contact that you want to add, then tap Done."
