new phone’s e-sim issue

Hi there, I haven’t been able to setup my new phone’s e-sim.

I get errors like “This phone number can’t be transferred because your account is ineligible”.

Customer support told me I need to be the primary account holder to fix this.

But I went through all the lines on the plan, and none are showing that they are the primary line.

I don’t know what to do. No one knows who the primary account was. So frustrated. Someone please help.

This issue can be handled by your carrier. I believe that you have contacted your carrier since you mentioned their customer support. The primary account holder is the person who owns the Cellular account. If the cellular service bill is sent in your name, then you are the primary account holder and you will have to stress that to your carrier’s customer support. If the primary account holder is someone else, then that person will have to make the phone call and get the eSIM activated for your new iPhone.
