I have read but never found an answer how to connect the Apple TV new generation 64 g 4k to a Samsung 4k smart television. It connects to any other television in house just fine. People have replaced their devices but has anyone figured out how to connect and fix the problem? I am determined to connect my living room tv! It blinks/flashes black screen so you can not access or do anything on the Apple TV. Thanks.
if it was me then I would check if the tv had any firmware updates and of cause try other hdmi ports
and of cause try samsungs forums and specify the model and firmware of the tv so other users of the same tv could share their experiences

Finally figured it out. Turned on ambient and fixed immediately. I had tried different ports, tvs, different Apple TV, new cable, different everything. I figured it was a easy setting
