Keyboard shortcut to lock the screen on Macbook pro?
I need to lock my work mac hundreds of times a week. Currently, the only way is to use the mouse to open the apple menu and use "lock screen" which is slow, fiddly and tedious, especially when you have already stood up to leave.
on a PC its perfect: you just hit Windows-L. I need something similar for Mac.
I cant use a mac keyboard (as apple dont have mechanical keys for professional typists, and the apple keybaords are horrible for those used to typing 60+ WPM on a full travel mechanical switched keyboard), and Apple prevent the use of the touch ID as it forces users to close the lid to use external monitors only (apple is missing the critically needed option to disable the internal display, just like on Windows).
Is there any similar I can use to create something like Windows-L to lock the screen?
