There is a contact in my list that receives my texts as emails. I’ve read all I can find online and no effective answer found. Someone suggested going to Settings, Messages, Send and Receive etc etc and that doesn’t solve the problem. This question has been asked and answered this way by several people and it hasn't worked for anyone. Can anyone help with this?

Generally, you wouldn't be able to send an SMS message to an email address. Is it possible that you have their email address listed in your Contacts app and it is defaulting to sending them an email rather than a text?
Aside from that, if this is happening via SMS messaging, that would be entirely handled by your carrier. With that said, you'd need to reach out to your cellular carrier for more information.
