Restore old text messages
My messages “keep messages” setting was 2 years and I reset it to keep forever. Can I restore old messages somehow?

The messages that are more than 2 years ago are permanently deleted and cannot be retrieved by simply resetting the “Keep Messages” category to “Keep Forever”. This is because the older messages were deleted before you changed the setting.
