Constantly asking to trust computer on all my ISO's devices when backing up

Since upgraded to iOS 6 and Ventura now every single time I plug any of my iOS devices to the backup, I have to put in my password to trust this computer.

I've tried, resetting my network settings on all my iOS devices plus installed the latest updates that came out yesterday.

I have long complex passwords and all my devices so having to type it in every device every morning when I backup is beyond PITA just to backup each day.

It's wildly known by this point on different fourms that Apple Support around the world is clueless about this problem.

It's a hotfix compromise introduced in iOS and iPadOS 16.1 to address a security vunerability. It broke backup to Mac, but syncing still works without putting in passwords.

For now, I just click skip backup everytime the pop up shows up, which is multiple times per day per device.

Stop asking people to reset their routers and wiping their devices to reinstall OS. Stop giving out generic BS.

If you don't know, just say, sorry, we are unaware of this issue and I will get back to you ASAP after internal investigation.

Hi TzTerri,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you need to enter your passcode to trust your computer each time you connect your iOS devices to it.

It sounds like you may need to restart your devices, including your computer, and if you still experience the same behavior after restarting, you can reset your Trust Settings as outlined here: About the 'Trust This Computer' alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Get help
If you tap Trust or Don't Trust but doesn't accept your answer, or if the Trust alert won't appear, follow these steps. Try again after each:
1. Make sure that your computer has the latest version of macOS or the latest version of iTunes
2. Disconnect and reconnect your device from your computer.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Restart your device:
iPhone
iPad
iPod touch
5. Reset your Trust settings.
If the above steps don't help, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.
If you downloaded iTunes for Windows from the Microsoft Store, make sure that iTunes Mobile Device Helper is enabled as a startup item.
If you still need help, contact Apple Support.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

I just hope it isn't some new security feature as it started after I upgraded everything.

Then I hoped that the updates to the update would fix it.

Since making this post I've learned that many people I know are having this same issue.

I put in a bug report to Apple about it.

I also found a forum of people having this issue so it seems it is something that needs to be fixed on Apple's end.
