Upgrade iMac with different size RAM memory

I have an iMac18,3, Quad-Core Intel Core i5, with two 4 GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 2400 MHz installed. Can I add a 16GB OWC Memory Upgrade Module

PC19200 DDR4 2400MHz SO-DIMM, and a 32.0GB 2400MHz DDR4 PC4-19200 SO-DIMM in the other two available slots for a total of 56 GB? That would be 4 GB, plus 4 GB, plus 16 GB, plus 32 GB = 56. I believe 64 GB is the max on this iMac. Please advise.

Installing RAM modules in matched pairs is highly recommended.

What I would do, is order a 2x16GB module upgrade from OWC and run with 40GB, which in-itself a lot of RAM.

Then if you find your system running short, which I doubt, then you can always order another 2x16GB kit.
