My iPhone being hacked through Face ID & passcode<home control.

My neighbour April Upper has been hacking my phone (she works for Rogers data provider) and has access to god knows what info as I bought this iPhone XR through that company.

she could be hacking me several ways, I can’t be sure, but the one I do notice is she can access Face ID and Passwords < home control. She can get around passwords I set, and she toggles home control on several times per day. This has been happening for 3 years and Apple won’t fix the problem (I have described this hacking to the security department and they don’t care). I have noticed the same post from several people on here - so this is how I have learned some temporary ways to stop this - I hope it helps.

They can’t toggle the home control switch when your wifi/cellular is off AND your phone is locked. They can only access the toggle when you are using your phone because it is unlocked then and your wifi/data is on. So when you are using your phone, continuously go to the settings I mentioned and check that toggle and if you find it on, keep turning it off. I know it’s not the best solution but I learned it the hard way after 3 years of hacking. My new IT provider also tiled me my phone may be cloned. I don’t know what to do with that info. But don’t bother telling Apple about this hole in their security because the APPLE SECURITY department won’t do anything about it or even care. They will tell you to call the police, and the police only care if the hacker has stolen money from you through the hacking.

I thought Apple would be quite interested in a major hole in their security but they are not.

By hack, if you mean remotely controlling or monitoring your device, then...

Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware if it is updated to the latest iOS/iPadOS unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed them on your device or/and have Jailbroken

It (Hacking) also depends on how careful are you in sharing sensitive and valuable information pertaining to your iPhone such as Passcode, Password, etc with your friends and family members.

Be careful when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.

Thumb Rules:

  1. Enable  Guided Access before handing over an iPhone to kids
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jailbreak
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device and payment methods
  5. Beware of Phishing

If you do not believe the above then my only answer is...

There are some people who still believe that the earth is flat and there are others who think no one has ever landed on the moon. What can I do about that?
