MyWellness App as Data source for Health app issue
As the new Technogym Excite treadmills/cross trainers were not receiving heart rate data when I logged into them with my new Apple Watch Ultra (my first Apple Watch), the gym trainer advised me to delete Technogym’s MyWellness app and reinstall.
I did this and not only did this action not solve the heart rate issue, it also lead to the MyWellness app no longer reporting workout activity via HealthKit to the Health app. In the Health app Data Sources and Access/Workouts/Data Sources, MyWellness is listed as ‘inactive’.
I have deleted and reinstalled again, restarted my iPhone 13MaxPro … all the sensible actions you would expect.
if anyone has any solutions I would be hugely grateful!
