I can't get numbers to hide columns properly. When I select multiple columns then try to hide them it grabs the columns and starts a selected and move area process. I've done what I am trying to do many times before. Could I have a hardware problem or a bug?

I found the problem! I had a merged group of cells. When I unmerged them, then I could hide the columns as I wanted to.
