what does apple plan to charge? i’ve purchased Dark Sky and will be annoyed if it becomes just another monetizing bit by apple

No one here in this user-to-user forum knows the specifics of Apple's plans for the future of the Weather app or for what they plan on doing with Dark Sky. I can't find the citation but, as I recall, Apple said that they would be adding Dark Sky features to the weather app over time.

Thanks for your feedback and the link. I am quite happy with Dark Sky. I DL the Weather app to get familiar with it prior to DS going “dark”. I do not like Weather yet but hope to adjust. It is less reliable, format is less user friendly. I think I paid about $10 for DS and wonder if I get a refund when it goes away? Lol.

One does not generally get refunds for apps that have been discontinued.
hmmm. I have. Perhaps it depends on the developer or the person that buys it.
