Can I update my iPhone se 2016 to iOS 16

The first iPhone SE model that came out in 2016 cannot be updated beyond 15.7.1. The second and third generation of SE can.

No unfortunately you cannot. The first generation SE out of 2016 cannot upgrade to ios 16 due to hardware limitations. The second and the third (respectively 2020 and 2022) can upgrade to ios 16
