Connecting iPad Pro to a vertical monitor
Is it possible to connect the iPad Pro to a vertical monitor in portrait?
Is it possible to connect the iPad Pro to a vertical monitor in portrait?
It has been a long time that I had to purchase any external monitors
Some external monitors have a dual ability to be turned both landscape and portrait orientation.
Some monitors are designed to be strictly in a vertical/Portrait orientation.
Doesn't automatically mean they will work with an iPad, in the same orientation.
You would need to search the Web on your own to find such computer monitors/displays that exhibit these features.
I have no clue what is out there, today, for current, modern computer displays.
Good Luck to You!
What you described to me is not what I envisioned.
There are purpose designed vertical/portrait orientation ONLY monitors.
What you are showing me here are just standard horozontal monitors mounted on vertical support stands.
In this situation, what you are trying to accomplish is most definitely, not possible.
Sorry.
Tried it in the store. No luck so far
I don't see why not?
The fella at the computer store says it’s not possible.
You don't know until you try.
Purchase the correct video adapter from Apple, if your monitor has a compatble video connection, purchase the apprpriate cable needed and try it!
Best of Luck to You!
Ok, Thanks. Do you know that brandname and model of one of these "purpose designed vertical/portrait orientation ONLY monitors"?
Or where I can find one...on a budget?
