I’ve updated my iOS to 16.1.1 in 14 pro max and I’m losing battery more than it was on iOS 16.1. Battery is getting drained very fastly on this update. Is there any fix available?

Hi imjoejohn_,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

There are a few steps that can help conserve battery life that you can find here: Maximizing Battery Life and Lifespan.

They include:

  1. Using Wi-Fi instead of cellular data whenever possible
  2. Making sure apps aren't using Background Activity
  3. Lowering brightness of the screen or using Auto-Brightness.
  4. Checking Settings > Battery > Battery Usage to see if any particular app is using excessive battery

If that doesn't help, we'd advise contacting Apple Support for a deeper dive.

Have a fantastic day!
