Now updated to Ventura 13.0 -- lots of changes! In Mail, my standard activities require attachments from time to time in my correspondence. Have explored 'Customize Toolbar' which has all kinds of stuff but no attachments. Is it gone? Another way to add 'show attachments' to my toolbar? Thanks friends.

Here is the Mail compose window attachments icon in Ventura 13.0.1. Obviously the ability to attach documents remains, but this toolbar item is not for viewing attachments as they will just appear in the received mail body.
There is no main Mail toolbar attachment tool. Not in Monterey either.
If you aren't seeing the paperclip, control click in the column header area and mark Attachments from the drop down menu.
