Samsung tV won’t turn off when holding down Apple TV remote power button.

AppleTV remote won't turn off Samsung TV New issue. Starting 2 weeks ago, when I hold the power button on the Apple TV remote everything shuts off including my Samsung tv BUT then the tv screen comes back on with the message no signal HDMI-4. HDMI-4 is the source my Apple TV is using.

it rely on hdmi-cec Consumer Electronics Control - Wikipedia

it has to be supported on the tv and enabled on the tv
