When I am trying macOS Recovery tool by hitting CMD+R or OPT+CMD+R or SFT+OPT+CMF+R (I need to clean install the OS that came installed in my machine), I only get Internet Recovery available.
Is this normal?

If something is wrong with the Recovery volume, it will revert to internet Recovery.
According to this article, you would need Internet Recovery to install the original shipping OS.
