Cannot create memoris movie from album.

Hi,

I created album from my recent trip, but no matter i do I cannot see the memories movie made from that album. What I can see is only slideshow (see attched). I have newst IOS and iphone 13 pro max. Any other album i have - no problems can create the movie - withs one no chance. Any type of external content if present in album (dorn photos or so) that may prevent iphone from making memories? At first I thought it may need some time to proceed but its almost a week and still nothing... Im attaching blurred screenshot to show what I mean.

Hello, thanks for your help. As i wrote everything was up to date so restarting did not help much. However i have found yhe solution just few minutes ago and i will post it here so maybe others will find that helpful. You CANNOT create memories movie from album that have more than 500 pictures/ movies. 500 is a limit- go with 501 and slideshow is only thing that you can make . Thank you all!

The next step is to restart the device. This simple step can resolve issues like this:

• Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Also, please make sure your device is up to date with the latest iOS version 16.1.1.

• Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Hi, mpolanski123.

Memories aren't automatically created for every album you add to your device. They can be created manually from an album, however:

"Create your own memories

To create your own Memories from an album, or a specific month or day:

Go to the Albums tab and select the album. Or go to the Library tab and tap Months or Days.
Tap the More button , then tap Play Memory Movie.
While the movie plays, tap the screen, then tap the More button .
Tap Add to Favorites, then tap OK.
Tap the Close button .

To add someone from your People album to your Memories:

Go to the Albums tab, then tap the People album.
Tap the thumbnail of the person, then tap the More button .
Tap Create Photo Memory.

Hi, I'm sorry I might have been not precise enough. I was not expecting automatic creation but wanted to do it manually as on PrintScreen attached to my previous message. The case is that after tapping "more" button there is no such option as play memory movie , just slideshow. SO This is the only album on my iphone that I cannot make memories movie from that manually - the option is just no there. Just in case - ios updated etc... thank you
