Hello myriamb24,

First, let's ensure it's located in your library. Shared albums have a specific section of your library. They can be viewed under the "Albums" tab within the Photos app. You may need to scroll down and or tap "See All" next to "Shared Albums" to see it, if you have multiple Shared Albums in your library.

If you're not seeing a specific shared album, what can be done will depend on whether the album still exists, as it not appearing there would generally mean it was deleted by the original creator, you were removed as a subscriber, or you unsubscribed from it.

If this shared album was created by someone else, and the creator still has access to it, we'd recommend reaching out to them directly to request that you be added back to it. They can add you as a subscriber using the steps in How to share albums in Photos on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

For an iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch follow these steps:

"Invite more people

  1. In Albums, select a shared album that you created.
  2. Go to the People tab.
  3. Tap Invite People.
  4. Enter the names of people that you want to share this album with.
  5. Tap Add."

If they're attempting to add you again on a Mac, they'll follow these steps:

"Invite more people

  1. Select a shared album that you created under Shared in the sidebar.
  2. Click the People button  in the toolbar.
  3. In the Invite People field, type the email addresses of people that you want to share this album with. Click the Add button  to choose people to invite from your contacts."

If the shared album was created by you, then we'd recommend creating it again, using the steps under "Create a new Shared Album" in the link above, as shared albums aren't automatically backed up.

Regards.
