Shuffling Photo Order for iPhone Lock/Home Screen

Is it possible to set the photos to shuffle in a random order on the Lock Screen? The order seems to be locked, and the order of the photos can't be manually shifted by dragging photos into a different order. Is there a solution?

The “Photo Shuffle” option of the new Lock Screen in iOS 16 is not working properly. To be clear, I added the photos manually. And it’s not random as the name suggests, instead it’s always the same sequence. Also, when adding new pictures, the existing pictures’ composition will be reverted to default for some reason, which infuriates me because I have so many photos and I have to reposition them ALL after I add ONE new photo to it. The new lockscreen is super cool and I liked it, but it’s not at its finest state yet. I wish this will be fixed in the next update.

Photo Shuffle - lock screen Is it possible to click on a photo that shows in this option and be taken to where it is stored in my photos? The memories are great and I would love to favorite some so I can print out or send to people. Also, the first few days cycled the same pics and it seems to slowly add in more variety. I have 17 billion pics of my kids and would def like more variety lol

Photo Shuffle Limit defeats the purpose of Photo Shuffle. Why would photo shuffle limit be 50? The purpose for it, is to pull from so many photos, so that it'll surprise you every time you get a new wallpaper or a new quote. From a limit of 50, they become familiar very quick, especially when it changes 'at lock', and the magic is gone just as quick. It defeats the whole purpose of this feature. Please fix, it gets more ridiculous the longer it stays like this. (Also, there should be a something of a "weight" to an image, so it can appear more frequently. Right now bypassing it is done by just having additional copies, which seems redundant, but such a simple feature is missing. Cool.)
