How delete iPhone Recovery Contact invitation from a fake account?

How do I delete iPhone Recovery Contact invitation from a fake account? The invite came using a name similar to my husband's but his name is spelled incorrectly and he does not have such an email address. The notice gives me the option to See Invitation but I don't want to click on it and risk my iPhone getting hacked.

I know it is pfishing or contains hacking tools.

The sender spelled our name incorrectly and used a non-existent email address.

Change your password for your Apple ID:

Create a strong password for your Apple ID, It is best if your password consists of eight or more characters and include upper and lowercase letters, and at least one number. You can also add extra characters and punctuation marks to make your password even stronger.

Never provide your password, passcode, security questions, verification codes, recovery key or any other account security details to anyone else. Apple will never ask you for this information.

I don’t want to accept the invitation and then delete

It is assumed that one asks a friend for help with account recovery. But if a 'stranger' offers himself to help, then that is certainly strange.

There is no document from Apple to refuse / decline an account recovery invitation.

The sender . . . and used a non-existent email address.

Perhaps the following will help if the sender happens to use outlook or gmail email address,

To report illegal, obnoxious, unwanted or malicious e-mail from an Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live or MSN account, please forward the unwanted message in its entirety (including the entire message header), to abuse@outlook.com

You can do that by following the instructions described here -> Help a friend or family member as their account recovery contact

Help a friend or family member as their account recovery contact - Apple Support (IN)

⤵️

Scroll to -> How to remove yourself as a recovery contact

If you don't want to be someone's recovery contact, follow these steps on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 or later

  1. Go to Settings, then tap your name.
  2. Tap Password & Security, then tap Account Recovery.
  3. Under Account Recovery For, tap the person's name.
  4. Tap Remove Contact.
  5. The contact sees a message that you're no longer their account recovery contact.
