All references that I see on the community seem not to apply to my iPad 14. Ergo notes to transfer pic from mail to photos just don’t work. Any ideas?

Any images within an email, if in a compatible format, you should be able let the image/s load place and hold a finger on the image. A pop-up window should appear with a list of options with one option being to “Save to Album” or “Save to Photos.

Have already replied to this. The answer to my problem was to simply transfer the image to my Mac and move it into photos from there.
Now what do I do! I’ll press the post button and hope for the best. This process seems much too complicated.

Many thanks for your effort. I had tried that already and the expected
options did not turn up. What I got was “share/add to photos and copy”
none of which resulted in anything. I sort of wonder whether the fact that
the photo was a Microsoft thing caused the failure to respond. Possible?
Or was it because i was using the iPad?
Anyway, I finally transferred the photo to my Mac and was then able to move
it to my photo file. Easy!
