Omnisphere, Trillion and Stylus RMX not recognised in Logic 9.1.1

The 3 Spectrasonics Plug in instraments do not show in the insert slots. In the Audio Unit Manager all 3 Specrasonic AUs are ticked, but I am not able to tick them in the Nodes column - is this something to do with it. I have updated all the 3 Spectrasonics AUs.
Works OK in Ableton 8.1.4. Running OS X 10.6.4. Any advice appreciated.

Are you running Logic in 64-bit mode?

If so, try running it in 32-bit mode, waiting for them to show up, then going back to 64-bit mode.

Nodes have nothing to do with this. I don't understand that you say the instruments are displayed in the AU manager - then Logic can see them, so they should be available. You are trying to insert them on instrument slots, not regular audio inserts, yes?

It must be really late, Bobbi. Without meaning to speak for you, I thought your previous post meant, that if the AU version was installed, it would be "registered" in that folder, not that you would select it there, as Bee Jay is implying that you said.

Hopefully, that post answered my query, because I am facing that same challenge. O.K., back to the THREE HOUR re-installation! 😟

THREE HOURS later .... and still no luck with Trillian! Stylux RM is happy in either 32 or 64bit mode. Trillian's STEAM folder is installed in the same "upper level" folder as SAGE, so Logic should see it. Nope!

Any ideas? While the grass is growing the horse is starving.

Is there really an AU version of Trillian and Omnisphere? I have that to install as well but I'll wait to get Trillian sorted out first. No, don't tell me that they both have to be installed for either to work, pleeeeeeeeaze! Three more hours .... 😀

Actually I don't remember install procedure, cuz last time I just coped folders from one hd to new one ( too long time to install from DVD), but you must check out- Library >> audio >> plugins >> components, if it is there- it is installed. Next check out Plugin manager, if it is there and accepted- it must work.

At the end if something is wrong, you can download latest upgrade from Spectrasonics and install it. Good luck !
And sorry my english !

Your English works better than these plugins! No problem there, at all! 🙂

I checked those two places you suggested, but they are not registered there.

We now have a situation; to download the update you have to be registered; to register you must open the plugin in your DAW (Logic); to open the plugin in your DAW you must "see" it on your computer .... but we're not seeing the plugin .... 😀

Hmmmmmmm!

O.K.

I had a chat with Jonathan at Spectrasonics today. Since logic upgraded to 9.x, they at Spectrasonics have put out updates to match the new code in logic. I nstalled the update for Trillian and it showed up. I'm now installing Omnisphere and i expect the same success.

Thanx, everyone, and I hope this news can help others.

Yippeeeeee! 🙂
