Email messages are on your email provider (Gmail,Hotmail,AOL, etc) servers (linked to your old iPhone).
You need to add the email account to your Apple Mail app (in your new iPhone), using these instructions:--> Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, then open it and wait for it to repopulate.
