Volume Stuck And Won't Change

My fairly new iPhone 11 has been working completely fine up until today, when all of a sudden the volume stopped adjusting. I tried disconnecting my bluetooth headphones, no luck. I’ve tried resetting. The volume buttons won’t work, and I can’t change it manually, whenever I tap on the volume bar it just acts like I’m not touching it. Please help.

Hello ImNotScared,

You mentioned not being able to change your volume manually. To confirm, was that under Settings > Sounds (or Settings > Sounds & Haptics)? If so, this behavior is mentioned in If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker.

"Go to Settings > Sounds (or Settings > Sounds & Haptics), and drag the Ringer and Alerts slider back and forth a few times. If you don't hear any sound, or if your speaker button on the Ringer and Alerts slider is dimmed, your speaker might need service."

If this is the case in your situation, you'll want to contact Apple Support to explore service options for your iPhone.

Regards.
