If a driver for this model cannot be found, you could perhaps carry out a few tests with a generic PCL driver (such as PCL 6). If necessary, even a driver for another printer model (make) using PCL.

As always, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files before testing anything.

It may be a good idea to reset the printing system between tests.

Considering that printer is nearly 12 years old, I’d say the odds of that happening are somewhere up there with the odds of your winning the lottery without having purchased a ticket…
